Class 4 & 5 visit to Magna Science Adventure Centre on Tuesday 17th March 2020

To support our learning in science and geography, Class 4 & 5 have arranged a visit to Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham on Tuesday 17th March. This will be a full day visit and will include the chance to explore the centre and learn about the four elements; each class will also take part in an educational workshop linked to their topic.

We intend to depart from school at 8.45 so the children will need to be in school at the earlier time of 8.30am on that day. We will return to school at approximately 3.45pm. The children will require a packed lunch and drink and should wear school uniform.

These visits form an integral part of the curriculum and, as such, are extremely worthwhile.  The cost of the trip will be £12.80 per child available on Parentpay.  Such activities cannot be funded without the voluntary contributions from parents.  Parents are under no obligation and no child will be omitted because parents are either unwilling or unable to contribute.  However, it must be stressed that school funds are not sufficient to organise such visits without voluntary help and therefore may be cancelled.

The deadline for return of reply slips and payment is Thursday 13th February.

Thank you for your support and if you have any questions about the visit, please get in touch.
